Quote: Morgan is going to FTWD! I noticed him earlier in the year in one of the promos but it was short and I took it for a mistake since the next spot was a promo on the then pending 2nd half of TWD season. The last trailers make it clear unless i am missing something. It must mean a huge leap forward in time for Fear. Not sure what the purpose of the move is supposed to accomplish but it is interesting.
Quote:The announcement of Morgan moving to FTWD came out at least half a year ago. FTWD up to this point has been blah. The powers that be in the franchise finally took notice, put Scott M. Gimpel in as show runner, and it's getting a reboot of sorts. Yes, it's moving up to the same timeline as TWD, so I wouldn't be surprised if there might be more crossovers in the future or an eventual merging of casts. I just hope that the new and improved version is a heck of a lot more interesting than the borefest it has been.
I don't get how a character makes it from Georgia to an area somewhere around Tijuana, Mexico (about 20 miles from San Diego) and then goes back to Georgia to find Terminus and somehow makes his way to Virginia in the zombie apocalypse. I mean it's doable...but WHY even do it at all?
What possible reason would Morgan have to go all the way to Tijuana and why would he come back?
My guess is that they use the time jump after All Out War that happened in the comic. Morgan leaves TWD after this season and Fear takes a several year leap in to the current time line. There must be other factors involved such as the Fear cast moving eastward. The appeal of Fear was supposed to be it taking place during the beginning of the plague which is already past . I would not be surprised if characters from this show join TWD next year and Fear is cancelled. With both series moving in to the same time period and knowledge of where the comic goes it is possible. This season of Fear may contain a split story/time line that takes place concurrently from our point of view.
